Sennheiser XS-LAV-MOBILE Lapel Mic w Splitter (Bundle)

The XS-LAV-MOBILE Lapel Mic is an omnidirectional lavalier microphone with a 3.5mm TRRS connector.  This microphone does not require any external (Plug-in) power to operate.  It is perfect for smartphones or tablets that don't provide power to the mic.  It also works with mirrorless cameras and DSLR cameras.  (More details here.)

To maximize compatibility, a TRRS to TRS converter is included, which allows this mic to be used with the headphone/microphone splitter.

The supplied USB-C audio splitter will convert your phone's USB-C connector into two separate TRS connectors, one for the microphone and one for the headphones.  The USB-C Connector plugs directly into smartphones (iPhone 15) or tablets.  The headphone connector allows you to monitor your audio as you record.  This will significantly increase the potential for capturing great audio on your first try.  (You cannot monitor audio when using most bird ID apps.)
