Which Accessories Do I Need for KLOVER MiK 26
Case/Bag for KLOVER MiK 26
A carrying bag will provide protection for your unit during storage or during transportation in extremely controlled conditions, such as a personal vehicle.
The lightweight, roto-molded carrying case is for carrying or storing a single, assembled KLOVER MiK 26 parabolic microphone. This case will not provide the same level of protection as our compact case or flight case but it is much lighter and more economical. (Approximate dimensions: 25″ x 25″ x 12″)
The road case houses one, or two un-assembled KLOVER MiK 26 units. There are compartments for all of the KM-26 components, preamps, and headphones. (Approximate dimensions: 33" x 30" x 18")

Microphone for KLOVER MiK 26
Any omnidirectional microphone may be used with your KLOVER MiK 09, but we offer the following microphones pre-installed as a convenience for our customers.
Microphone Madness 3.5mm TRS Lapel Mic - The MM-ML has a 3.5mm TRS connector commonly used by digital recorders and digital cameras. It requires plug-in power.
Countryman B3P4FF05B XLR Lapel Mic - The Countryman B3 is reasonably priced and very weather resistant. It comes with an XLR connector and requires phantom power.
Sennheiser MKE2-P XLR Lapel Mic - The Sennheiser MKE2 is popular with broadcast audio engineers. It comes with an XLR connector and requires phantom power.
DPA 4060 XLR Lapel Mic - The DPA 4060 is the most sensitive microphone we offer. It comes with an XLR connector and requires phantom power.
Neumann KM 183 Small Diaphragm Condenser Mic - The Neumann KM 183 is is an industry favorite small diaphragm (pencil) mic. If features low self-noise and high SPL capabilities. It comes with an XLR connector and requires phantom power.
Sennheiser EW 112P G4 Wireless Lavaliere Microphone - The EW 112 is the only wireless microphone we offer. It comes with two output cables, one with a 3.5mm TRS connector and one with an XLR connector. It does not require any external power.
Amplifier for KLOVER MiK 26
If not connected directly to a camera, some type of audio recorder or amplifier is required to capture audio.
The BeachTek DXA Micro Pro unit is the lowest cost but has an unbalanced output so the output can only be shared with devices that are within approximately 10 feet of the amplifier. It can work with 3.5mm TRS or XLR microphones.
The Whirlwind MD-1 is less expensive than the Sound Devices, unit but slightly heavier. It only works with XLR microphones.
The Sound Devices MM-1 unit is the most rugged amplifier we offer. It only works with XLR microphones.
The Zoom F1 recorder is ideal when the audio is to be monitored and/or recorded but not output to another device. It comes complete with a lapel microphone. Do not order a second microphone.
The Zoom H4 recorder can be used to monitor and/or record audio as well as supply that audio to a PC via USB. It can work with 3.5mm TRS or XLR microphones.
The Rolls MP-13 amplifier is ideal for connecting your microphone to a PC, or connecting a 3.5mm mic to a device a long distance away. It can work with 1/4" TRS or XLR microphones.
Headset for KLOVER MiK 26
Operators typically use their ears more than their eyes to aim the parabolic microphone. A good headset provides the audio the operators require.
The Koss Pro4AA is low cost and very rugged.
The Sennheiser HD 280 is foldable to be more compact (replaced the SRH440 previously offered).
The Remote Audio HN-7506 provides the ultimate in isolation for very loud environments.
Wind Cover for KLOVER MiKWhile the collector dish of the KLOVER MiK provides protection from the wind, the optional wind cover minimizes wind noise when recording in high wind conditions while remaining acoustically transparent.
Mount for KLOVER MiK 26Reduce operator fatigue by mounting your KLOVER MiK 26 on a monopod, tripod, or light stand. Both 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 tapped holes are provided.
Spare Parts for KLOVER MiKAccidents do happen. If your KLOVER MiK will be operating directly adjacent to a sports field, or exposed to damage during shipping, a set of spare parts can save the day. With the KLOVER MiK's modular design, damaged parts can be replaced in minutes.

This model features a modified front flange to fit in a smaller case for easier transport. The performance of the Tactical model is identical to the original model which is a standard in the broadcast industry, seen every weekend on the sidelines of American football games.
